Zeal is pleased to launch the Wyke Beck Valley Pride website www.wykebeckvalleypride.org.uk

Here at Zeal we are genuinely passionate about giving back to the community whenever we can. We believe that no matter what size a company is, they should always make time to contribute their skills and resource to charity. We choose to work with Wyke Beck Valley Pride because it’s at the heart of what we do, being a Leeds based digital agency we’re highly committed to our surrounding environment.

It’s been an exciting project from start to finish, not only did we donate our time and resource to designing and building the Wyke Beck Valley Pride website, we also spent a day revitalizing Killingbeck Fields by planting over 700 trees around the park.

Wyke Beck Valley’s new website will drive high numbers of visitors from all over Yorkshire, helping to promote the extensive efforts that the team puts into running the project. The website’s design-led platform will also make it easy for the community to interact online, whilst keeping up to date with Wyke Beck Valley news and up-and-coming events.

Wyke Beck Valley Pride is a three year partnership project which endeavours to give the Leeds community improved environmental quality whilst strengthening the community’s connection to the vast green spaces in the Wyke Beck Valley area.

Jane Slimming, director of Zeal Media said: “When we heard about Wyke Beck Valley Pride we knew it was something we wanted to contribute to. Zeal designed and built the Wyke Beck Valley Pride website to fit in with the project’s growth strategy and to ensure that everyone involved got the best out of the internet.”

Wyke Beck Valley is a £500,000 project, funded by Natural England through Access to Nature, as part of the Big Lottery Fund’s Changing Spaces programme, Leeds City Council and Green Leeds and is run as a partnership between members of the community, the Wyke Beck Valley Community Forum, Leeds City Council, BTCV Leeds, Groundwork Leeds, Leeds Voice, and Leeds Ahead.
