We’re pretty sociable creatures here at Zeal so the idea of inviting clients and contacts to get together is a good one for us. We want to make sure our events do two things… Interest people with new topics and ideas, and allow some of the great people we know to meet each other.
So that’s what we did.
On the 9th May, we held an event at the Lost & Found Club on the importance of accountability, relevance, and creativity in digital.
We had three speakers from Zeal and a great Q&A section at the end.
- Setting KPIs That Matter – working with your agency to understand where you are now, where you want to be, and how you can get there.
- We Thought You Might Like This – how personalised content is transforming businesses like yours.
- Creativity – the importance of the big idea and what makes an effective campaign.
After the talks, we made use of the fact Nick Pomeroy (our Head of Creative at Zeal) is a real-life quizmaster and held a pub quiz over beer and pizza.
I go to quite a few networking events and my personal preference is to do something that makes me talk to new people. So we mixed the groups up and allowed people to get to know each other a little bit. I can’t remember which team won… as it wasn’t mine… but it’s safe to say that new friendships were made.
