Belgian police requested residents avoid putting too much on social media about recent terrorist raids. Instead of avoiding social media altogether, residents decided to upload thousands of pictures of cats with #BrusselsLockdown. More here.

Dubbed “social seating”, airlines are giving passengers the option to link their social media channels to their seat so that travellers can pick seats based on the people around them. More here.
